While listening to Adele’s newest hit, Hello, I was taken down memory lane back to “that ex.”
Many years have passed since I spent some time actively thinking about the relationship that used to be. With the memories resurfacing, it seems like the right time to pen my thoughts, no?
Like most bright-eyed romantics, there was a time in my life when I thought I would marry my high school sweetheart.
Ludovico Einaudi‘s compositions have a way of tugging at a listener’s heartstrings. This piece, Nuvole Bianche, was featured in the film Insidious (2010).
EDC Las Vegas has become of those events where each year, I tell myself it’s going to be the last one, but thankfully it never turns out that way. In all of my EDC experiences, there’s always been one thing that makes me question whether or not I will return, yet the pros always seem to outweigh the cons.
I’ve put together a fun recap video and a list of my takeaways that will be helpful for any EDCLV attendee, whether you’re an EDC veteran or first-timer. Read more below. And for those of you wondering about the track in the video: Dada Life – One Last Night on Earth (Speaker of the House remix)
Thank you to those who contributed to my amazing experience, including folks who gave me the scoop on places to visit. For those who are looking to visit in the near future, I’ve put together a list of highlights from Hong Kong (where I spent 80 percent of my time) based on places I discovered AND the places my friends recommended.
If you’re looking to travel to a country that’s fun, delicious, affordable and convenient, Hong Kong is definitely the place to visit.
I’ve been here for a little over a week (on business), and it’s been quite the experience so far. While work has me pretty exhausted by the end of the day, I’ve been pushing through my fatigue and lack of sleep to get out and explore this beautiful country. But, I haven’t been doing it alone.
With the help of friendly locals, frequent visitors and friends (new and old), I’ve adapted to this place quite nicely, though Hong Kong’s culture makes it very easy to adapt to. Most of the locals here speak English, and the public transportation system, MTR, is one of the greatest systems I’ve ever used. Imagine BART times a billion. Yes, it’s that good.
No kidding. This song is for those moments when you feel like drifting away to a destination of sensual and chill clarity. With soothing beats and sexy lyrics, it might also be good for some baby-making background music.
My favorite line: “..Started to undress you with my wandering eyes.” SWOON.
